Currently, Guido is a lecturer and researcher in Business IT & Management at the Academy of ICT & Media at The Hague University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands. He obtained his PhD at the University of Twente. ICTRegie funded this project. The project focused on the preservation, but mostly on the disclosure, of the digital cultural heritage at the Flemish and Dutch broadcasting companies. This resulted in several journal publications and a dissertation. During his academic employment Guido lectured for bachelor students, and supervised bachelor, pre-master and master theses. Furthermore, he acted as reviewer for several international journals and conferences, including the European Conference on Information Systems (ECIS), International Conference on Mobile Business (ICMB), Hawaii International Conference on System Sciences (HICSS), and the Tijdschrift voor de communicatiewetenschap (in Dutch). He also worked as a project manager on several projects that aim to develop eHealth solutions for people diagnosed with Autism spectrum disorders (ASD) at the dr. Leo Kannerhuis.
