Wiki Loves Monuments Community

Maarten Dammers is a network engineer and longterm Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons volunteer from the Netherlands. He organised several museum/heritage conferences as well as several hackathons and Wiki Loves Monuments, the international Wikipedia photo contest around cultural heritage, in 2010, 2011 and 2012. He acts as a consultant for Wikidata and cultural heritage institutions and has been involved in several Wikipedia projects, e.g. with the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Flemish Art Collections and the Netherlands Institute for Art History.
