Harry Verwayen – Director Business Development at Europeana. His main focus is the design and implementation of new business models and strategies that will support Europeana to fulfil it’s mission as a driver of innovation in the cultural heritage sector.
Prior to this position Harry worked at the Amsterdam based thinktank Knowledgeland where he was responsible for innovation and positioning of the project Images for the Future.
He has over ten years of experience in the Academic Publishing industry in various positions including sales, business and product development and worked for Kluwer Academic Publishing, Springer and IDC. Harry holds a MA in History from Leiden University and a certificate from Nyenrode Business University.
